NNMQG offers a variety of programs throughout

the upcoming programs listed below.

DECEMBER 2009: Potluck Holiday Luncheon
Saturday, December 5 @ 11:00 am
Location: Santa Fe Woman's Club
Our last meeting of this year is Saturday, December 5 from
11 am -1:30 pm and is our annual Holiday Party, this year held
at the Woman's Club. We are having a POTLUCK so here's a chance
to bring your favorite dish to cook, bake, assemble or buy.
Please also bring the necessary SERVING UTENSIL! Sue Wyard,
Mary Ann Onstott and Terry Meyer are arranging for drinks, plates,
cups, flatware, etc. There is no charge for this party since
you are providing the meal. Guests are welcome so please bring
plenty of food to share.
In addition to a wonderful meal, you may wish
to participate (not required) in any of the following:
FABRIC EXCHANGE - Bring 1 yard of fabric in whatever cuts
you wish (4 fat quarters, 2 halves, 1 yard piece, etc) wrapped.
If you bring fabric, you will take fabric home.
ORNAMENT EXCHANGE - Bring one wrapped ornament and exchange
it for another.
TOY DRIVE - We are collecting UNWRAPPED toys, books, fun hats,
gloves etc for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Christmas party
for 200 kids from all over Northern New Mexico. Beverley Weiler
will take them to BB/BS. Kids range in age from 7 - 12 with
a few older and younger siblings.
GIFT SHOP - We are opening our wonderful Gift Shop (usually
reserved for Quilt Fiesta) at the Party. If you haven't already,
bring a gift you have made for the Guild to sell at the Gift
Shop. Any money we make this year takes the pressure off Quilt
Fiesta next year. Call Myrna Landt at 989-8218 or email her
at myrnal.sfnm@att.net if you have made something for the gift
shop and can turn it in early. She would appreciate a suggested
price. Gifts will be accepted at the beginning of the Holiday
Party.
As usual, we will have door prizes (Linda Jensen), the library
(Barbara Bogart) and SHOW AND TELL.
MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL - We also renew our membership at the Holiday
Party so please fill out the attached form and bring your check
for $25 to pay for the 2010 dues. Forms will be available at
the party. To renew before the party, or if you are unable to
attend, please mail your form and check to Nola Beck.
If you are bringing a guest, please email Sue Wyard at swyard@cnsp.com or call her at 438-4629 so we have a better idea how many will
attend.
