Upcoming Monthly Guild Meetings
Some monthly meetings are in person, others will be on Zoom for the next few months
ARE YOU ZOOMLESS? WE CAN HELP!
At our recent guild meeting, the board discussed what the guild can do to help members who don’t have access to Zoom, so they can still join — and enjoy — guild meetings, including the upcoming talk by Tara Faughnan.
Several board members volunteered to host members at their home for future meetings. If you’d like to participate, click here to contact Lē Adams, and she can help arrange the most convenient place for you.

Dorene Beck – Program Details - Joy in the Journey – Get Your Creative Hat On!
Quilting has brought me much joy in the journey. In this program I share quilts from my trunk show and talk about finding my Artistic Voice in quilting. I will share tips and techniques that work well and those that I found did not work as well for me. The methods and materials will be discussed to inform the audience as why I use the products and methods I use in my art quilts. The talk will center around learning & growing as a quilter no matter what your favorite type and will encourage quilters to let go of their fears and try a little creativity!
I have had an interest in art and design since I was a child. When I was about 9 years old, I learned to sew and have been creating home decor and other objects d'art all my life.
I am a 2008 graduate from American InterContinental University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication and I have a Masters Degree in Education from Ashford University. I have also attained the Competent Speaker award in Toastmasters Club and enjoy sharing my Joy in quilting with Quilt groups.

Pre-Meeting Tables
From the time doors open to when the actual meeting starts, there will be representatives of different activities available. If you're visiting our guild for the first time, stop by the membership table to join our guild or just take a membership form home with you. Sign-ups for upcoming workshops or other activities are also usually available. And, if you have completed blocks of the month, drop them off and pick up your raffle tickets for the block of the month drawing.
Block of the Month
Each month there will be a specific block pattern to follow. For every block you bring to the meeting you will receive one raffle ticket to win all the blocks created by members. So, the more blocks you create, the more chances you have to win! For details on the current month's block, check the homepage.
Show and Tell
- Community Service Quilt Show and Tell
Each month, members share quilts, pillow cases and place mats they have created to donate to our community service projects.
- Quilts of Valor Quilt Show and Tell
After community service sharing, members who have made quilts for the Quilts of Valor project show their donations.
- General Quilt Show and Tell
Members are encouraged to bring in both finished quilts and quilts in progress to share with the guild.
