Santa Fe County Fair
It's time to start considering which of your quilts you will show at the 2025 Santa Fe County Fair!
*When: July 27 - August 2
Where: SF County Fairgrounds
3229 Rodeo Rd Indoor Exhibit Hall
*Quilt Drop-off: Monday, July 28
*Quilt Hanging: Tuesday, July 29
*Exhibition: July 31 - August 2
Yes, that first week of August and the Santa Fe County Fair are coming soon but just in time for you to have the binding finished on that newest quilt and ready to display at the Fair. The Northern New Mexico Quilt Guild partners with the County Fair staff to produce the display of handmade quilts from anyone in Santa Fe county, although Guild members make up the majority of the entries. The judge is chosen by the county coordinator, not by our Guild. Usually the county coordinator confers with quilt stores and area guilds to make that decision. Our Guild offers a raffle quilt and participates in the display decisions, although county employees do the actual hanging and take-down. Guild members assist with the take-in registration, manning the raffle table throughout the Fair, and returning of the entries.
