Hello, and thank you for thinking about contributing to our guild!
We are a Community Service based guild and we donate around 200+ quilts a year to local charities in the Northern New Mexico Area. We also donate to other causes such as the victims of hurricane Katrina and the Sandy Hook tragedy. We answer the call whenever we can. When the Little Bear fire in Ruiodoso occurred, we sent many quilts down to the victims with the Piecemakers Guild in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
We annually send around 180 placemats to Kitchen Angels for their meal baskets so each resident of Santa Fe will receive a placemat and napkin during the holiday seasons in November and December.
In addition to fulfilling our Community Service mission, we put on a Quilt Show every two years that helps us continue in our efforts. We run the guild for two years on our proceeds from the quilt show and from generous people like you who make donations.
Your monetary donation makes it possible for us to buy batting and other items we need to continue our work. In addition to monetary donations, we accept donations of completed quilts in good condition, quilt tops, batting, and fabric.
Print out the form, fill in one for yourself and one for guild records. Feel free to give others away to friends and family to contribute too!
We are a 501c3 organization and your donation is tax deductible. Please help us continue what we love to do. The more funds we raise from you and our other fund raising efforts the more quilts we can make, which we is what we love to do!
